So Yesterday Volume 2

This is another update of what is no longer in fashion. Some trends we are sad to see go and others we wave goodbye to happily! I have mixed emotions about these, but they are pretty much done and dusted. Here is what you should stop wearing (or maybe hold onto for a future retro fashion moment).

Sneaker Wedges

I love all kinds of shoes, and I would be lying if I said I didn't feel inspired the first time I saw Beyonce wearing a pair in her music video 'Love on top'. I just had to have them! For some reason I got a mint green pair, which kind of went with nothing in my closet but oh well...sneaker wedges are out! When you think about it, they actually are quite a strange form of sneaker shaped heel. It is also confusing as to how you style them and what you wear them with so as not to look like you belong to a gang. Bye-bye sneaker wedges!

The Bandage Dress

I doubt this will stop all the club rats out there from showing off their assets in skin tight dresses, but the bandage dress is no longer in fashion. This summer there is more of a focus on dresses that cinch at the waist and flare out. It is the more feminine and lady like version, and short 'n tight is really not a trend at the moment. There are only a select few who can pull off the bandage dress anyway without looking like a sausage! We should be so grateful this trend is out the window for now.

Short Short Shorts

I have given these particular kind of shorts an extra 'short' added to them because they are the extremely high-cut type where your butt cheeks peek out the bottom. They were very much in fashion last summer, but this summer there is a transition to the longer cut shorts that cover everything (thank goodness). I heard from many guys complaining how girls wearing these short short shorts look like they are in diapers! No thank you, they are just not cool anymore, not even if you're 16.
