These trends have had their moment in the sun, but it is now sadly time to say goodbye! I am one of those people that usually avoids being a slave to fashion, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't sad to see some of these go. I am sometimes guilty of stretching out a trend for a bit longer than I should because it suits my personal style or its flattering, but even I know when to let go. They are OUT!
The high-low 'mullet' dress
These dresses and skirts were lots of fun and we got to show off our legs but keep it formal at the same time. I even had my mom make me a mullet party dress before they reached the stores (thank you Pinterest). Personally, I am sick of seeing this trend simply because it was too popular and overdone. Good-bye mullet dress, the party is over.

Colourful/patterned leggings
This was a popular winter trend that some got a bit carried away with. The colourful/patterned variations just end up making your legs look bigger and your outfit look silly. The reindeer, the hearts, the colours...too much! Stick to the good old black leggings and you will never go wrong.

Peplum anything
This is the one trend I am so sad to see go because peplums are just so damn flattering! Peplum was definitely a style that I hung on to a bit longer than I should have. They cover big hips and make your waist look smaller, what girl wouldn't want that? They are just so last season though... sigh
