As we get older we realise more and more that when it comes to friends, quality beats quantity every time. It is, however, quite challenging when you transition from a student to a working woman and instead of seeing your friends by default (at varsity or at social gatherings) you have to make a conscious effort to designate time for them.

Running my heart out

I always enjoyed sport, but the one thing I never took to, however, was running. I had a mental block against it, and I tried to avoid it at all costs (including faking injuries I will admit). More recently, for a somewhat brief period of 3 months last year, my gym contract had ended because I moved cities.
